Mottville Township is please to be the home of the Southwest Michigan Construction Code Library. This library was created to bring into compliance those municipalities that maintain their own building department. This library maintains those reference materials that each trade official may need to preform their duties.
In order to access these materials, a municipality must become a member of the library. Once a member the municipal supervisor and each trade official will receive access to the code library. This library is available for access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The code library is also please to announce that they are partnering with Michigan State University to provide a location for training to the municipalities in the area in a effort to maintain their current knowledge of various areas of municipal government.
